(Mon. 4:40 Fall) Shooting Game Situations
(6) 50-min Classes - Aug. 24, 31, Sept. 14, 21, 28 & Oct. 5
Service Description
Shooting Game Situations classes are for players to continue fine-tuning their shooting mechanics and work on their footwork in various game situations, both off-the-dribble and on-the-move. Additionally, we will work on these aspects while incorporating decision-making and pressure. Each class will work on different situations. Individual class sign ups can be made for Shooting Game Situation classes if space is available. Courses 1 and 2 are recommended before taking Shooting Game Situation classes, but not required. Players can also retake previous courses as well to get more repetitions and better feeling with those particular habits if needed. We have many players that do this as well. - Course 1 Skills (Stationary): Proper stance, sequence and timing, ball path, shooting hand positioning at two, guide hand, balance - Course 2 Skills (Jump Shot/Catch-and-Shoot): Applying course 1 skills to jump shots along with footwork
